In seven days you move from the busy energy of Cairo to the open skies of the south, and every day brings a new chapter of a story that began five thousand years ago.
You begin in Cairo with the Giza pyramids, the Sphinx and Saqqara, then fly to Luxor for the great temple of Karnak at sunset and the royal tombs and temples of the West Bank. On the fifth day you drive south along the Nile to Aswan, stopping at the Temple of Horus at Edfu and the double temple of Kom Ombo. In Aswan you visit Philae, the High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk, and end with a felucca sail at sunset. On your last day you fly back to Cairo for your departure.
