Overview
Few journeys in the world carry you through so much history so gently. On this four-night Nile cruise you sail upstream from Luxor to Aswan, from the great temples of Thebes to the granite islands of the south, with your cabin, your restaurant and your sundeck floating beside you the whole way.
The cruise begins in Luxor with Karnak and Luxor Temple, then crosses to the West Bank for the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. You sail south to Edfu, where a horse carriage takes you to the Temple of Horus, to Kom Ombo for its double temple, and finally into Aswan, where a sunset felucca ride and the Temple of Philae and the High Dam end the voyage.
On board you eat well, rest between visits and watch Egypt pass by: farmers in green fields, children waving from the bank, egrets and water buffalo and the glow of the evening sky. A licensed Egyptologist guides every visit, and everything is arranged, from the transfers to the entrance fees.
If you are looking for a 4 night Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan, this is a classic itinerary that balances sightseeing and relaxation. EgyptLens arranges four nights on a 5-star ship on full board, the guide, the entrance fees and the private transfers.
