Pyramids & 4-Night Nile Cruise with Flights

8 Days 7 Nights

Overview

For many travelers, the ideal Egypt trip has two parts: the pyramids and the Nile. This eight-day journey combines them perfectly, with three nights in Cairo for the pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum, followed by four nights on a five-star ship that carries you from Luxor to Aswan through the heart of the Nile Valley.

In Cairo you walk on the Giza Plateau and visit the Grand Egyptian Museum with your Egyptologist. You then fly to Luxor and step aboard, visit Karnak and Luxor Temple, cross to the Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Hatshepsut, and sail south to Edfu and Kom Ombo. In Aswan you visit Philae, the High Dam and a felucca, and on the last day you can add an optional Abu Simbel excursion before flying back to Cairo.

It is a smooth, comfortable journey, with transfers, flights, full board on the ship and entrance fees all arranged for you. Evenings on deck, the sounds of the river and the temples at sunset make it the kind of trip people remember for the rest of their lives.

If you are looking for an Egypt tour with a Nile cruise in eight days, this is the one that does it all. EgyptLens arranges three nights in a Cairo hotel with breakfast, four nights on a 5-star ship on full board, the flights, the guide and the entrance fees.
